Day 9

Today is my last day in class. We finished up the mother's day gifts by making a little wristband. The bands were made by a little transparant string with beads on there and the name of the mother.
We also did a'Bye bye Mr. Vincent'. The kids all sang 'GOODBYE MISTER VINCEEENT'. And I didnt know what to say. So I just said my goodbyes and then gave the kids the gifts. I got them caramel waffels and a Lollypop from Hema. I also got some gifts from school. I got 2 t-shirts from school, Post-its, 2 pencils and a map from the school. I love it. I even got a little note from a girl in class with the text: goodbye Mister Vincent, I hope you had a lot of fun.
I definitely did. I made an agreement with Mr. Oshiro that he would let the kids practice their writing skills by sending me a lettre from class. And I will respond by mail to let them know how things are going in Holland. I'm looking forward to it.
